Professional Graphic Design
If we design them, your cards are custom designed by a graphic artist. A business card design will be created for you based on your input. We do not print until you are 100% happy with the proof. Printing will only go ahead once you have signed off the proof.
If you want to design your card yourself, you can supply it to us as follows:
In prepress .pdf format, without any copy restrictions.
In .jpg or any other bitmap format, 300 dpi.
Total size, measurements
94 x 54 mm. This includes a 2mm bleed and all the text information on the
card must be 5mm from the edge
of the card.
If this is correct we won't charge you any design, artwork or setup fees.
However, if you use MS Word, Power Point or Publisher etc, to design your
business cards, do not use WORD ART, as we can't copy and paste WordArt into
our program, which is Corel Draw, except if you use the methods as explained
in our business card design tutorial. WordArt will then not affect the
printing of the cards.

Offset / Litho Printing
Your cards are printed on a 4 colour offset press with a 150 line screen, full colour on the front and black and white on the reverse side. The same process used to print quality magazines and publications. We do not make use of digital printing, as it does not come near the quality of our litho printed business cards.
Heavy Cardstock and Professional Finish
Our Powergloss 300 gsm cardstock is thick & sturdy with a fine grain. The cards are also sealed on the front with super, double coat UV varnish for the special high gloss effect and sturdiness. The UV coating not only protects, but brings out the colours and enhances the lustre of the card.
Quantities and Pricing
The most popular order for cards are
usually 500 or 1000 identical cards, full colour front and black
reverse, which are then Super UV Varnished on the front of the
card for extra lustre and
sturdiness.
These prices are as follows:

Delivery, postage or courier fees are not included in the above pricing.
We also cater for less popular orders which are usually matt printed cards, or cards printed on another type of card stock such as Ivory Ripple. These prices depend on the type of card stock and quantities ordered.
Where a business requires a large quantity of different cards for instance for a lot of staff members, we supply as follows:
* 250 identical cards per person, minimum print of
3000 at R2799.00.
* 500 identical cards per person, minimum print of
3000 at R1969.00.
Time Frames and Delivery
Normally all business cards are printed during the weekend, if possible, on Saturday. This leaves enough time for the cards to dry properly before varnishing. They are varnished on Monday and also left overnight to dry properly before cutting and packaging takes place. The cards are usually ready for delivery on Thursday.
In Gauteng, we deliver the cards as soon as possible, whilst other orders are posted or couriered immediately via Speed Services. Normally they can be collected at your Post Office Counter on Friday, Saturday or sometimes Monday morning.
